MC Law is one of solely two law schools within the state of Mississippi, and is the one regulation faculty within the capital metropolis of Jackson, Mississippi. The school is an expert faculty of Mississippi College, based in 1826.

Northwestern operated with out incident until 1926, when Young died. By 1928, the college had declared chapter and its students transferred to the Minneapolis College of Law. Similarly, the YMCA faculty ceased functioning in 1934, despite discussions of a proper merger with the Minnesota College of Law. Since 2007, the National Law Journal has ranked BC Law within the top 20 law faculties as a result of giant number of graduates the school locations in top American regulation corporations. Harvard was the only other Boston area regulation faculty that positioned within the high 20 for recruiting. Due to BC Law college reputations as lecturers and mentors among college students, the Princeton Review law rankings placed BC Law in the #7 place for “Best Professors”.
